Liz is a first year principal of Bezanson School in the Peace Wapiti School Division. Students enrolled in Bezanson School are drawn from farms and acreages in a 10 to 15 km radius of the hamlet of Bezanson which is located 20 minutes outside of Grande Prairie. The school has 154 students from kindergarten to grade nine. As a dedicated educator who has always been passionate about Inclusion, Liz believes that developing a collaborative culture in her small school based on the extensive professional skills and knowledge of our teachers will enhance student learning and self-worth. She has a wealth of teaching experience from grades one to nine, as well as being in many different schools as an Educator of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, in addition to being an inclusive Education Coach. These experiences have given Liz unique insights and ideas to share in her role as education leader for Bezanson School.
