Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

The Blanket Exercise traces the history of the relationship between Europeans and Indigenous peoples in Canada. and the outcome is to understand the historical relationship. Outcomes will include; -Reflecting on the impact of legislation and policies intended to result in assimilation, -Review key historical and current events that affect Indigenous peoples in Canada and Alberta. -Explore the major themes of assimilation, discrimination. Indigenous rights and reconciliation -Reflect upon your own attitudes, beliefs and dispositions of First nations, Metis and Inuit peoples in a non- threatening environment
