Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

Our first inclination when faced with the uncomfortableness of anxiety is the need to get rid of it. Many strategies aimed at getting rid of anxiety inadvertently increase anxiety so in this session I will teach you the strategic and light-hearted (anxiety makes us too serious) approaches to managing anxiety in your life and in the lives of your students. It is by knowing how anxiety operates that one can gain the upper hand in managing it's "sneak attacks", "exaggerations", and "never-ending 'what if' rants".
