Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

This session springboards off of the session entitled "Talking Back to Anxiety". I will take you beyond the basics and generalities of how anxiety sneaks up and bosses our children around to how we can structure classroom activities and support 'anxiety-busting' skills within the classroom and school environment. Social and performance anxiety loves the school environment; however, we can teach children how to outsmart anxiety and strategically battle it. Classroom based approaches will be provided to assist k-6 students manoeuvre through "anxiety breeding grounds" to support children in feeling more confident and comfortable at school thus allowing them to learn and thrive.
