Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

In developing a cohesive framework for teaching as suggested by Jim Knight, learning maps are an effective tool for bridging together instruction and student learning in many grade levels, situations, and programs of studies. Ideally, learning maps can serve as a comprehension tool for almost any type of information source to allow students to engage their learning by using a visual and organizational tool such as a learning map. This session will guide you through different types of learning maps, demonstrate ways how you can integrate learning maps deeper into your instruction, and illustrate how your students can begin to develop a learning map toolbox that they can use independently to support their reading and inquiry skills. Let's go further then a bubble map!
