Adding a session to your schedule in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in the room. Most sessions are first come, first served, there is no waitlist. On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

Limited Capacity seats available

This Storytelling in Science workshop fuses the poetic elements of storytelling with the hard facts of science, encouraging students to connect with scientific concepts in a personally meaningful way. During the workshop, students use their natural curiosity and personal experience to connect themselves to the theories they are learning about. Empowering students to go beyond simply stating the facts, they will learn to describe the story in a compelling way that uses scientific theory as the narrative. Krogstad breaks down the recipe for making science poetic and how to write a captivating story. Because science doesn’t have a voice, but you do.
