Non-fiction readings and writing assignments are always a challenge to find as technology changes and students struggle to relate them to their lives. This session will introduce a project for both using and creating a user's guide... for themselves! This project stands the test of time: the user's guide can mimic the real-world transition to a more digital format and is a text most students will come into contact with throughout their lives.
