On Sched you can add multiple sessions to your schedule that are at the same time. A session that is "POPULAR!" is on many attendee schedules and could be full. If a session requires pre-registration it will indicate this in the description and will provide details for how to pre-register.

Very Good Reasons to Kill the Class Novel Study

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Whole class novel studies are now "old school". Inspired by Donalyn Miller's book "Awakening the Inner Reader", take a peek at my grade 9 classroom where we have no assigned novel reading. No novel studies. No book reports. No thirty page booklets to complete at the end of each chapter. Students read books of their choice all year long; a total of 40 books in a year. This session with provide you with a year's overview, sample lessons and assessments, and a taste of book-choice freedom.
